The Friendship Centre is leasing our first building at 154 Mitton Street North in the Mitton Village.
June 2009
Boozhoo, Sago, Tansi, Hello to everyone;
The Board of Directors is pleased to welcome visitors to our new home at 154 Mitton Street N. in the Mitton Village.
The Sarnia-Lambton Native Friendship Centre is a not-for-profit community-based organization. The Board of Directors continues to focused priorities on building relationships with the First Nations, municipal, provincial and federal governments to help establish our organization. We have also been working diligently to build capacity within our governance structure to create a secure foundation for the future.
We will continue to host community socials as a way to unite the urban Aboriginal population in the Sarnia area. We hope that you feel we are meeting our objectives as a Friendship Centre, and look forward to developing new programs and services.
If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know.
In Friendship,
